And God said “Build a drift boat and collect two of every fly!” Yes, the rain has been biblical, but the fishing is awesome. We have been nailing some big fish on lakes and rivers. Big Bass and even bigger Brown Trout! The main stems (Winooski, Lamoille) remain very high and muddy. The Lamoille will be the first to clear, especially above Cady’s Falls. The Winooski is going to be awhile. Tributary streams (where available) and still-water are the places to be now. Work them streamers boys and girls.
