The forecast is predicting some nice sunny days, with temperatures in the 70’s for the weekend, which I think we can all appreciate. Most rivers in the Stowe area are clearing up and fishing great. We should see the flows come down in the next few days. The Lamoille river is running high and clear above Morrisville. The Winooski is still pretty messy. Rivers in southern Vermont are also recovering from some heavy rainfall. Still-water fishing on lakes and ponds has been excellent. We are finding some big bass on our chartered boat trips. Hatches have remain pretty much the same. Terrestrial action is picking up, so make sure to stock up on some imitations.
