The rivers are finally coming down after all of the rain we have had, the majority of the streams and rivers are fishable right now, the only one I’ve seen to appear to still be too high is the Winooski river. The Lamoille fished well today, Josh had a trip and was quite successful despite a late start. The other streams are a little on the high side however they have cleared up very well and have very good visibility. The water temp is still cool making fish bite throughout the day. Stillwater fishing is still very good as well, we’ve heard about lots of big smallies coming out of the reservoir and lake champlain in the past few days. Poppers at first and last light and leeches (Zonkers) and minnow imitations throughout the rest of the day. Also keep an eye out for hex’s to start hatching off of some of the ponds and lakes around!
