What a great 4th of July week packed full of trips and great people! And even though we had to play cat and mouse with the weather most folks tagged fish, whether it was on lakes or streams.

The time started out for me with a super couple from the the Pitcher Inn down Warren way. Ventured out on the Rez with Dave and Lyris for an early evening bass jaunt. Turns out Lyris caught her first smallie on a fly rod with a topwater gurlger.

Another stillwater trip on Lake Eden had me meet up with a father and son team from Southern Florida. Bass and pickerel were caught with mostly spin tackle. But let me tell you folks, those guys could finesse the spin rods. Dropping pinpoint casts into nooks and crannies and around and behind docks from off angles. Very impressive Phil and Justin!

I would like to shout out a big thanks to the Dougherty family, Joel from CO, Carl Z and Doel and the guys from Puerto Rico.

Finally let it be said that the inns and lodges we deal with are the best! The clients I had were staying with Stowe Mountain Lodge, Topnotch Resort and Fiddlers Green here in town, and in Warren at the Pitcher Inn and Sugarbush Resort.
