Daily Fly Fishing Instructional Tours
By far our most popular program.
Our unique program will start out by teaching you the roll cast & false cast on our stocked trout pond.
Then our guides will outfit you in waders & boots to head to the river wher we will teach you the elements of fly fishing by allowing "the river to become the classroom."
Experienced guides will then discuss fly presentation, how to mend the line, how to read the water, aquatic entomology along with teaching you to match the hatch.
Whether you are a novice learning to cast or an experienced fly fisherman,
our experienced guides can accomodate your individual needs.
Full or half day trips available. Large groups welcome!

Provides a half-day of instructional spin fishing on one of our favorite "fishin" holes.

This is a great opportunity to drift the river with us and expereince one of the worlds finest fisheries for trophy Salmon, Steelhead and Brown Trout. Our Guided Vermont Drift Boats fishing trips will take you on the Lamoille or Winooski River
where you will find all three species of wild trout.
Test your abilities in swift riffles, runs, and deep pool flats with
undercut banks hiding big brown and rainbow trout. A full day of
fishing, sure to relax and challenge the most experienced fisherman.

Junior Fishing Program
Our Junior Fishing Program teaches kids the fundamentals of "Having Fun Fishing!"
They will learn the right way to cast a spin rod, the fisherman's knot, how to bait their
hooks and hopefully at the end of the class catch a few trout!
The class if for ages 6-12 years old
Cost is $30/child
Time 9 am-12 pm Monday

Fly Girls Of Stowe
Karen Guile started the Fly Girls in a effort to give the women confidence about exploring varied fishing waters. She felt that some women were uncomfortable about going fishing on their own and venturing off to uncharted waters.
Each month we explore a new stream or river, talk about new techniques and enjoy an evening on the river, with always a few laughs thrown in for good measure.
We are always looking for new members to join and we will be meet sometime this March to set up 2009 schedule, give Karen a call at the shop for more information.

The Waterbury Reservoir has been stocked with rainbows and browns and is one of the best natural fisheries for small mouth bass in Vermont.
Tour Includes
Fishing kayak rental
Spinning or fly fishing gear
A guided fishing trip on the reservoir
Basic paddling and fishing instruction

Free Spring Turkey Calling Seminar & Field Day
With spring turkey hunting just around the corner, we will hosting our 2nd Annual Turkey Hunting Seminar from 9 am- 12 pm on April 4.
It is open to all youth or new hunters that have passed Hunter Education.
The topics will include: various techniques for the box, slate or mouth call, scouting tactics, basic equipment needs, ethics and safety.
Spring Turkey Calling & Field Day on April 18th. This daylong seminar will teach you everything you need to know to become a successful turkey hunter. It will include the techniques listed above but will also include how to set up blinds & decoys, patterning & point of impact, how to read sign & locate calling spots and finally how to set up for success.

What to Bring on Your Guiding Fishing Trip!
All our guided trips include rod, reel, waders & wading boots but we
do recommend that you wear weather dependent clothing,
(raincoat, fleece jacket, long pants or shorts).
We would like to have you also wear socks for inside the waders,
bring a hat, bug spray, sunblock and polarized sunglasses.
If you don't have these items, we do sell all the gear you need
for your trip in our Retail Store.
