Kayak Fishing Tours
Kayak Fishing Tours are a Fly Rod Shop specialty. The tour consists of a three hour fishing and kayak adventure on the Winooski River (Tuesdays) or the Lamoille River (Fridays). Anglers can expect to land both rainbow and brown trout, as well as brook trout.
The tour includes kayak rentals, spin fishing gear, and a guided fishing trip on the river. Basic paddling and fishing instruction is also provided so there is no need to have any previous knowledge either in kayaking or fishing.

Additional Information:
- This program is for adults and children 14 yrs of age or older.
- Reservations are required.
- This program runs from June through Labor Day Weekend.
- A current Vermont fishing license is required. It can be purchased at the shop or by clicking here.
Cancellation Policy:
- A full refund will be made available upon cancellation until 24 hours before departure, at which point no refund can be made available.
- The Fly Rod Shop and Umiak Outdoor Outfitters reserve the right to cancel any trip and/or make
changes in itineraries as may be deemed necessary.
