Things have remained pretty good over the past couple of days. Water temps have remained cool and the fish have remained happy. We had a few trips out yesterday and they all got into plenty of fish. Frank’s trip on the Lamoille ran into a HUGE Sulphur hatch yesterday evening, unfortunately the fish didn’t seem to take notice to the dry flies so they just nymphed for them. Everything is in great shape right now and the temps are perfect. It’s supposed to warm up a bit this coming week so be sure to get out there early in the morning to get after fish. Tomorrow and Tuesday will probably be good days to fish mid-day with the cloudy conditions we are going to be having. Nymphs, Streamers and Dry flies will all be working in the right situation. Be sure to have a nice variety of flies in your box. Aside from fantastic trout fishing, the bass fishing has been awesome as well! We’ve gotten some nice smallmouth bass on the Waterbury Reservoir over the past couple of days. We’ve got a few warm water trips going out this week in the drift boats but the big boat is still open!
