The Fly Rod Shop is happy to offer our customers trip opportunities to The Sand Hill River lodge. It is a private lodge, and because of the lower angling pressure, sees prolific runs of Atlantic salmon. The trip includes flight to the lodge from Goose Bay Airport, lodging, meals, guides, and return flight to Goose Bay.
The Sandhill River System is located 30 miles southeast of Cartwright, Labrador. The Sandhill has a robust run of Atlantic salmon as well as brook trout and sea trout. The Sandhill River Lodge is a remote fishing lodge located 4 miles from the Labrador Sea, supplying our fisherman with a continual supply of bright salmon.
The Lodge can accommodate 12 guests. We have comfortable semi-private rooms and outstanding meals. All of the comforts of home are provided in a truly wilderness setting.
