The fishing has remained pretty good over the past few days. The cooler weather we have had has helped things out quite a bit but things may warm up a little bit this weekend. The Winooski yesterday was 58 at 9am in Middlesex which was pretty good to see. The Lamoille has been running a bit warmer but still fishable in the morning. We’ve been seeing Sulfurs, Caddis and Drakes hatching and the fish have been keying in on them. We’ve been finding lots of fish in the faster pocket water over the past week as well. The brook trout fishing has been really good lately as well and we’ve been seeing some nice ones caught in streams through our area! The Hex hatch should start to happen over the next few days as well on a lot of the still water lakes around.  The water levels got pretty low pretty quick so hopefully this rain will bring the water levels up a little bit!
